Mandarin Orange

#MandarinOrange is more than just an auspicious #CNY symbol. Single #Chinese women participate in a tradition of setting mandarin oranges afloat in a body of water as a way of finding themselves an ideal partner during #ChapGohMei festival on the 15th day of CNY, which is also sometimes interestingly known as the Chinese #ValentinesDay.

On the other hand, single Chinese men will also took part in the tradition, hoping to meet the #love of their life. The men will gather at the river or lake and scoop up as many #orange as they could to find their ideal partner. Even if they couldn’t find the right person, they could still meet new people and be friends.
